Old School at Bandar Puteri Puchong

Old School located at Bandar Puteri Puchong
its quite isolated I think
due to their location at the last row of that business area

As the name suggest,

old school aimed to play their theme
around the concept of school,
Therefore their waiter all dressed in high school uniform
However, I somehow feel that their decoration and interior design can be improved,
It was rather too plain and I don’t feel that “old school”

As a non-halal restaurant,
They served most of their food related to pork,
From rice to noodle, from burger to toast,
Except that their soup and drinks are not from pork I guessed? LOL…

Anyway, here’s my menu
Honey Pork Chop Burger    RM15.90

Old School Fried Rice     RM 15.90

Scrambled Egg Sandwich    RM9.90

Carbonara Spaghetti   RM15.90

Chicken Parmigiana    RM17.90

BBQ Pork Satay     RM15.90

Honey Pork Chop Burger    RM15.90

Small portion and was okok je…

Old School Fried Rice     RM 15.90
This Cina style fried rice was actually good… Love this among the rest

Scrambled Egg Sandwich    RM9.90

Bread is too dry and totally not worth to pay for……L

BBQ Pork Satay     RM15.90
Seasonal Menu I think but taste was great! :D

Chicken Parmigiana    RM17.90

Carbonara Spaghetti   RM15.90

The carbonara sauce was too plain and less milky…a bit disappointed on the dish

To conclude

the price here was quite affordable

but food taste not quite promising,

depends on dish that you ordered!
This restaurant somehow give me the feeling

as if I have dine in KIM GARY

except that the choice was not as variety…

If you look for some place to eat while u at puchong
maybe can try here

My advice is that go for the RICE series

NOT the burger/sandwich series!

Mollydooker's Coffee Bar at Damansara Height

Visited their outlet at Bukit Damansara,

Mollydooker’s turned out to be the perfect spot for me to have a good chat with my friends.

Unlike other café,
the atmosphere at this café is just quiet enough due to minimal amount of visitor

It’s just feel so cozy and comfortable to have my coffee

You might missed out this café
if you drive passed Damansara Height,
plus car park is quite limited around this area
but we just illegally park our car opposite the café so maybe you can do the same?
 Just watch out for police!!
LOL

Anyway,
just a thought that maybe the café owner can turn their air-cond stronger
as I kinda feel quite warm while sitting inside

So here’s my Menu

Molly’s Pancake      RM10

Banana + Butterscotch Pancake    RM12.50

Smoshie Juice    RM8.00

Molly’s Classic Hot Dog     RM10.00

Brown Butter Walnut Carrot Cake   RM13.00

Pistachio Passion Fruit Meringue Tart    RM 13.00

Flat White     RM11.00

Ribeye Steak Sandwich      RM19.50

Brown Butter Walnut Carrot Cake   RM13.00
For me, it’s a carrot cake and can’t really tell the difference using brown butter…but honestly speaking, cream cheese frosting was too hard and make it such a distasteful feeling to my tongue when it clump up…haizzzz

Pistachio Passion Fruit Meringue Tart    RM 13.00
Taste so so...personally think it doesn't worth that price.....

Smoshie Juice    RM8.00

Flat White     RM11.00

The taste was great as the coffee was bitter enough and with the correct proportion of milk, perfecto….jus that it’s still not a good flat white, not much bubbly texture when sip into the mouth…

Molly’s Pancake      RM10

Just typical pancake with butter served with syrup……it’s a pancake to conclude, meh~

Ribeye Steak Sandwich      RM19.50

Apart from the dessert, the food here was okok only……but can’t complain as I don’t think they really aimed to become a dining spot

It’s surprises me that their pancake is quite cheap and taste not bad though

One thing to improve
their worker take quite some time to prepare pancake,
like with such a less amount of customer
but take 20mintes++ to prepare the pancake?
Like dude, u not gonna make enough money with that speed!

Salt 'n Koffie Gallery Café at Jaya One, Seksyen 13

Located at Jaya One, Seksyen 13
The café just located at the road side once you exit the mall at Block E level 3

Visited the shop at night and realized that not much crowd was there
The shop can’t really cater a large crowd as what I thought but they do have take-away service and ice cream parlor outside the shop!

Their menu also don’t have much choices and you probably cant have a proper meal here
Hang out drinks with dessert might do?

Here’s my Menu’
     Signature Koffie   RM14.00
       B4’ Nine      RM13.00
     Wild Harvest Honey Bush    RM11.00
     Apple Crumble Cake  RM15.00

Apple Crumble Cake RM 15.00
The cake taste rather a bit sweet due to the caramel layer on top of the cake. Not very impressing but not very impressing though

  B4’ Nine  RM13.00
Nasically it’s a Mocha….plus a bit of mint…taste was ok but….ok, I would prefer other drinks instead

WildHarvest HoneyBush  RM11.00

Surprisingly, I like the refreshing taste of the tea, or maybe due to the magical effect it has to clean the sweetness of the caramel apple crumble cake? LOL

Signature Koffie RM14.00
Ordered this as the menu told me it’s a must try! But again, not disappointing but definitely not something I would order again

Not to say that my visit to Salt 'n Koffie Gallery Café is a very enjoyable one
but also not a preferable café that will appear on my list
if I were to conduct any hang out session
For me, it was rather a okok café exist around PJ area

However, do note that they have Offpeak promotion
up to 20% a
nd sometimes with special event,
they can offer you up to 50%.

P/S:  OffPeak discount only applicable to the tea and coffee drinks (except signature series) ONLY.
Not for the cakes and bites!
