KindMeal for food deal? Hell Yeah!

Not sure whether people aware it or not, phone apps had became a very useful way to help eater like me to save some money on spending.

 

Those famous one shall be KindMeal, Offpeak, or the Maxis Apps on your handphone.

 

Personally, I think that Offpeak was a bit rather less handy due to the fact that you are limited to the “Off-Peak-Time” especially where I only free during the weekend. Kindmeal was however my favorite so far and I’ve been getting good deal. The deal offered by Kindmeal usually last for few days and you can easily redeem that offer anytime and any day as long as within the promo period.

 

KindMeal is easy to use:

1.   Browse through the website

2.  Found your meal deal

3.  Download the voucher

**Note that if you share your meal deal on FB or twitter, you get better discount.

4.  Go to the restaurant

5.  Flash your meal deal to them before order meal

6.  Enjoy your meal.

 

When download the voucher, note the price different if you just download and when you share your deal through social media

 However, to use KindMeal, you are expected to be “Kind” since the apps promote meatless deal and practice healthy eating lifestyle. Besides vegetarian food, they also had promo on dessert as well.

As a matter of fact, human being are “designed” in such a way that our body tends to lean toward herbivore digestive system.

Using KindMeal, you can actually promote less killing, eating healthy food (except for dessert), you can also save money while enjoying good food!!

Unlike so many other commercialized cafe,

SBLR Cafe is purely a family business cafe where they target local customer staying in OUG Parklane so they spent none on commercial.

Business was started by a couple whose interest was to brew coffee, as simple as that.

 

 

Commercially Occurrence Coffee Art is totally out of sight,


 

replaced with  different kind of smiley faces been carefully hand-drawn on your drinks, 
as if they are trying to say, Cheers!   

For the SIP

Coffee here taste slightly bitter but it managed to win over my taste bud. Mocha was good if you prefer something less bitter. 

For Non Coffee-Lover?

Why not go for some herbal tea which also available here?

Then you shall Bite,

Food here served with the promise of no added MSG. 

Selection wasn't a lot but is enough to cover my need though, 

from sandwiches to Pasta and chicken chop, 

from meaty to vegetarian style 

and from heavy to light snack like Toast and Fries....

Brewmen at Solaris Mont Kiara

Come across this coffee shop at Solaris Mont Kiara after done grocery shopping. 

Enter the shop and realized there’s Nitro Coffee where my friend suggested last time so decided to give them a shot.

Nitro Coffee was not uncommon but within KL Area, it’s still not quite receive much popularity I think. 

It looks perfectly like a draught beer when poured into beer glass.

 

 With the foamy layer on top, together with the sour taste make it so refreshing.

 

P/S: Note that the coffee tasted sour due to the higher acidity nature of the cold brew coffee 

where the coffee bean was soak over 12 hours hence, caffeine level is quite high.

 

**II think the amount of Nitro Coffee served everyday is quite limited so can call them before visit? If you want to visit sangat lah!

 

Order a latte as well and tasted great, love the aroma of the coffee they brewed.
 
The Red Velvet was Okay but not really up to what i expected , can't really force myself to finish it up.

Aware it or not, Brewmen actually also serve waffle. 

Apparently, some website voted here to be one or the must visit waffle shop?

Nutella Banana

I call it calories beneath calories and beneath calories.

 Seemed like their best selling and therefore I ordered it.

 Tasted not bad but personally thinking, a bit sweet and can easily get tired eating it after few bites.

Blueberry and Banana Waffle.

 

Vanilla ice cream on top and sprinkle with blueberries and yet not too sweet. 

What I like most is that the banana is buried within the waffle.

 The crunchiness of the waffle partnered by the texture of the banana, 

Savor every bite of it folks!  

Another reason that make me fell for this place is that the menu here is creative and they serve quite some different kind of drinks like Mocha Chai Latte, Dirty Chai (Personal Favorite) , Reversed Latte, Kate Perry(I don’t know what’s that) and others…..
